Now, not the lockdown that you might think of. We are talking about Button Quail lockdown. In my last blog I said we would candle them but, another fact, their eggs are super thick so we couldn’t candle them.
So, exciting news! The Button Quail should hatch tomorrow or the day after. I’ll keep you posted on that.
They are tinier than you think! A baby Quail is tinier than a quarter. An adult Button Quail is less than a spoonful!
The baby Quail, the first week of their life, have hip problems. If you do decide to hatch them, you need non-slick fabric at the bottom of your brooder.
Keep up to date on the Button Quail! Maybe they will hatch tomorrow!
